Band

Concert Band

The Concert Band is an instrumental ensemble that meets during eighth period each day. All students are welcome to join the ensemble, regardless of musical training or experience. Members of the band receive a weekly music lesson from brass, woodwind, string, and percussion specialists. Students develop musical skills including tone, intonation, rhythm, articulation, styling, and ensemble precision. The Concert Band performs repertoire from the Classical period through the Contemporary era. Students participate in two annual concerts and other school-related performances.

Jazz Band

Jazz Band is an after-school ensemble that rehearses each Tuesday under the direction of Mr. Darrohn. All students are invited to audition. Students perform jazz, pop, rock, and Latin. They also develop improvisational skills. The jazz band performs at the Christmas and Spring Concerts, as well as local jazz band competitions. Mixed Quartet

Pep Band

The Pep Band is an ensemble that performs at Carroll football and basketball games. Students rehearse on Fridays after school in the fall. No audition is required to join!
